Waynetown, April 10 - William Gray, a prominent farmer living south of here, died Sunday morning as the result of an attack of pneumonia which found him in a weakened condition following several months' suffering with cancer of the liver. He was 60 years of age, was widely known here, where he had lived practically all his life. Besides the widow, there are two children who survive. They are Elizabeth at home and Reed who lives on a farm adjoining that of his father. One grandchild is also living.  The deceased was a member of the Baptist Church.  Mr. Gray was familiarly known as "Billie" by his friends of this neighborhood.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 10:30 in charge of Rev. PO Duncan, pastor.

Waynetown April 9 -- William D. GRAY who lived two miles south of this city died at his home yesterday morning. He has been sick for several months with cancer of the liver but the immediate cause of his death was pneumonia. He had passed his 60th birthday just two months ago. The deceased was the son of John S. and Mary Kemp Gray and was born on a farm two miles east of here. When he was a young man, he united with the Liberty Christian Church northwest of Crawfordsville. He married Feb 25, 1891 Miss Mary Stewart and from this union was born two children, Elizabeth who is living at home and Reed, who live son a farm adjoining that of his father. Besides the widow and the children,, there are 4 brothers and one sister to mourn his death. They are Mrs. Elizabeth Snider of Crawfordsville; BTR Gray of Waynetown; SP Gray of Covington and James B. and Ellis Gray who lives southeast of Waynetown. He was a member of the Odd Fellow! s Lodge and they will have charge of the funeral, which will be held at Wesley Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock. The services will be in charge of Rev. PO Duncan of Waynetown and burial in Wesley Cemetery. - typed by kbz
